Helping caregivers and students take ownership of social emotional health and academic outcomes.
My mission is to help students feel emotionally grounded, teaching them to take ownership for their academic learning; to guide parents and caretakers so they can provide the emotional and academic support needed for young minds.
Brain Breeze to help avoid a Brain Freeze! Think of your brain as a muscle. A brain in motion, remains in motion. Over the summer, if unstimulated, our brains can forget crucial processes, strategies, and overall information. The result? Regression. It is crucial for all students’ to maintain skills and strategies learned throughout the school year. But how?
For one summer, we will work as a team to create a multi-sensory curriculum specialized for your student. This intensive package maximizes students’ learning potential by maintaining skills while also providing opportunities for gains in a 1-1 environment.

I received my bachelor's degree in Speech Communication Disorders from the University of Maryland. At American University, I went on to receive my masters degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Differences . I have been working in the educational field for the past 10 years.
I started as an eager intern at an arts based school for students with language based learning differences. I have taught yoga for students, parents, and faculty. I have been the speech and language aide, the director of the afterschool program, a teaching assistant, and a master teacher. I regularly take professional developments to continue my education, in turn, aiding my clients.
I was born in Brazil, and my parents are from Asuncíon, Paraguay. During my summers I attended school in Asuncíon in order to learn to read and write in Spanish. I immigrated to the United States in 1996.
When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy yoga and spending time with my family. I love to travel, learn new languages, and meet new faces! My favorite weekend activity is enjoying the outdoors and a good book.
I offer a complimentary 45 minute service to go over the application process with the student, their family. After this initial consultation, I follow up with the family to recommend an appropriate service for their needs.
I also offer a complimentary 30 minute service for educators and institutions.
I am available on an hourly basis to give families advice about finding the right academic, social and emotional curriculum to best fit the student. I also help with reviewing reports or assessments, writing applications, and providing information on standardized testing, and more.
I meet with schools or educators to consult on building differentiated or individualized curriculums with an emphasis on social emotional development.
I offer a variety of packages that include evaluating the students academic record, establishing reachable goals, and advising the student and caregiver(s). All while providing individualized 1-1 instruction and advocating for the student.
